Commonwealth Theatre Center is thrilled to nominate Artistic Director Charlie Sexton for the 2018 Excellence in Theatre Education Award presented by Carnegie Mellon University and the Tony Awards! This honor recognizes a K-12 theatre educator in the U.S. who has demonstrated monumental impact on the lives of students and who embodies the highest standards of the profession. The winning teacher will receive the Award at the 72nd annual Tony Awards on June 10, 2018, and be acknowledged on the CBS telecast.
