We have another open rehearsal coming up, this time for the play The Disappearance of Daniel Hand by Dan O’Brien, directed by Alec Volz.

The open rehearsal is Saturday, October 23 at 12:30pm and is a free and open opportunity to look behind the scenes. As an added bonus, those who attend the open rehearsal will be offered a complementary matinee ticket for the 2pm performance of The Learned Ladies the same day.

The Disappearance of Daniel Hand is the newest installment in Walden Theatre’s Slant Culture Series, which presets new works by rising playwrights that feature complex teenage characters. So you’ll get to see teens playing teens (complete with, yes, awkward silences), and then switch to teens playing 18th century French folks (and speaking in rhyming couplets). A pretty cool afternoon.
