Auditions with Theatre
Our friends at Theatre are planning their season, starting over the summer, and there are roles that could be a fit for current students and alumni. Please carefully read over the information below, and keep in mind that some plays and rehearsals will conflict with some Walden Theatre summer programs. Please plan accordingly if you’re planning on the Shakespeare Intensive or the Alumni Acting Intensive.
Theatre – Season 2
Theatre produces recent and relevant plays, with a focus on reaching Louisville audiences and actors in new and exciting ways. Please visit the website, www.theatre502.org, or follow them on Facebook and Twitter.
Auditions: Monday March 5th, 6pm – 9pm
Callbacks Wednesday March 7th, 6pm-9pm.
Appointments are available by emailing Gil@theatre502.org.
Auditions and callbacks will be held at the Actors Theatre of Louisville’s rehearsal space, located on Market St. between 3rd and 4th, right next to FedEx Kinko’s. Enter through the FedEx door, say hello to the security guard, and take the elevator to the 5th floor.
Auditions will be readings from the scripts. No monologues necessary!
At this audition we’re looking for all kinds: veteran actors, people you wouldn’t expect to hear break into song, musician/actors, creative collaborators, and backstage hands. So don’t worry if you’re not EXACTLY what we’ve listed below – come be seen and let us decide!
More information about the plays and characters is available on request, at Gil@theatre502.org. Sides will be made available electronically, also on request, to those planning to attend.
