Walden Theatre summer camps are awesome. And now the wait is over and families can now register participants for many of Walden’s popular programs. Young people ages 5-18 can engage their imaginations with active storytelling and art camps, rehearse and perform a hilarious professionally-produced play, and deepen understanding of the works of Shakespeare. Best of all, Walden Theatre summer programs welcome theatre novices and young actors alike, so experience is no bar to having lots of fun and trying something new!

Summer Academy – ages 8-13
In each three-week session of the Summer Academy, kids work under the direction and attention of Walden instructors on a production of the hilarious play The SeussOdyssey by Don Zolidis: a mash-up of Seuss-style rhymes and zany storytelling with Homer’s epic classic The Odyssey. Students get the exciting experience of rehearsing and performing a professional-quality play while having fun and making new friends, all while receiving a strong foundation in theatre arts, and developing concentration, self reliance and cooperation.
