Join the Summer Shakespeare Intensive actors for a lively showcase of the Bard’s work at The Bard’s Town on June 29. This showcase is the culminating event for this great 3-week workshop lead by Julane Havens and Brian Hinds.

This showcase is free of charge and open to the public. Bring friends, family, Walden Theatre regulars, anyone.

But we encourage you to enjoy dinner at the venue before the show. Thanks to the Bard’s Town, 10% of the evening’s take from participating diners will go to Walden Theatre. So get there early (~6pm), have some dinner, and then march upstairs to the theatre space for the show.

Students in the Workshop have developed vocal & physical acting skills by studying First Folio texts, performance history of Shakespeare plays, and the context of the Elizabethan era.

This is a great way to support the participants in Walden Theatre’s Summer Shakespeare Intensive and catch some great theatre–all at a venue that’s been a wonderful parter for Louisville’s many theatre groups.

Hope to see you!
