Big fun is ahead. In cooperation with FlashBANG (and Walden Theatre alumnus Clay Marshall) we’re giving you a chance to learn Michael Jackson’s Thriller and perform it at our annual Chili Supper.
Thrill the Ville is the local host for the global Thrill the World, which is going for a world record number of participants performing the legendary Thriller moves on October 27–right around the corner from us at the Baxter Avenue Morgue. Best of all, Thrill the Ville is designed to benefit participating nonprofit groups, with money raised from registrations going to Walden and other groups. Here’s more from Clay (or click here for the main announcement):
The main Thrill the Ville event is Oct 27th, from 7-11pm with the big performance occurring at 10pm. Last year’s event drew 194 events in 29 countries had 12,297 people dance–including 97 Louisvillians at 21c. This year FlashBANG has partnered with the Baxter Avenue Morgue to host Thrill the Ville right outside their haunted house. The event is free and will include
- Costume Contests
- Jack-o-Lantern Art Show
- Entertainment and more!
Our goal is to have friends and family of Walden students raise $1000 for Walden theater.
