misalliance-1-nobannerAn airplane crashes through a roof, disrupting a stagnant social gathering and delivering a longed-for taste of adventure by way of a dashing young pilot and his lovely, headstrong Polish acrobat companion. This hilarious, thoughtful work contends with the changing social norms & institutions in the early years of the 20th century, touching on marriage, education, and the new roles for strong women available in this post-Victorian world.

The cast features performances by WT/BAP Artistic Director Charlie Sexton as well as former Blue Apple Players Executive Director (and now WT/BAP Senior Fellow) Paul Lenzi, plus student actors from the Conservatory and a number of actors who teach in the Conservatory program and with the Outreach Education programs (including several Walden alumni). Director Hal Park will be familiar to audiences from his succesful years in the 1980s as producing director of Kentucky Shakespeare.
