They train. They bowl. They attend class. They climb Jacob’s Ladder. And then they do it all again the next day.

Bowling for Beginners is a theatrical exploration of a world inhabited by championship female athletes in a sport with few spectators. But once you understand the game, you’ll learn what it takes to win.

Summer productions by the Alumni Company at CTC feature local actors, CTC teaching artists, Walden Theatre Conservatory alumni, and other theatre artists wanting to bring daring contemporary works to the public.

Playwright Diana Gristanti’s works have appeared on stages nationwide, and in Louisville her work has been produced by Actors Theatre of Louisville, Kentucky Shakespeare, Theatre [502], Looking for Lilith, and Commonwealth Theatre Center. She holds a B.A. from the University of Iowa and an M.F.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.
