The new legal thriller Dark Waters is out and generating plenty of Oscars buzz. And a Walden Theatre Conservatory student had a part in the film: Graham Caldwell.

Graham is a student in the Imagination class and was most recently seen in Macbeth in the 2019 Young American Shakespeare Festival as Young MacDuff, who meet a terrible end on stage. He remains a big fan of Shakespeare nonetheless.

In Dark Waters, which filmed in Cincinnati, Graham plays the son of lawyer Rob Bilott who takes on DuPont Chemical for toxic “forever chemicals” that have poisoned the water in Parkersburg, West Virginia. His parents in the film are played by Mark Ruffalo and Anne Hathaway, and in one of his scenes he gets to drop an f-bomb in a moment of comic relief.

Congratulations to Graham on being part of the film and earning credit toward joining the Screen Actors Guild!
