We couldn’t be more excited to announce this next chapter in Commonwealth Theatre Center’s story. We are launching the ‘Resetting the Stage’ campaign TODAY – and we want you to play a starring role!
This multifaceted campaign effort will consist of two main prongs: the traditional fundraising component – which aims to raise $15,000 toward CTC’s general operations and sustainability effort – and a live, televised (via Zoom) variety show in October. Read on to learn more!
‘Resetting the Stage’ Fundraising Campaign
As theatre-makers, we tell stories. And the stories unfolding before us right now are nothing short of remarkable. The world is starting to look a lot different for all of us, but it is because of loyal supporters like you that we are able to pave a path forward and continue to cultivate the next generation of empowered, creative problem-solvers.
In order for Commonwealth Theatre Center to pivot our resources and help our students tell these stories to the best of our ability, we’re going to be doing a lot of improvising this year. We need your help to raise $15,000 to offset the cost of our thoughtful “reset”. Visit our Support page to learn more about the ‘Resetting the Stage’ campaign and make your gift today!
‘Resetting the Stage’ Variety Show
Who DOESN’T love a good variety show? This first-ever, one-of-a-kind evening filled with talent and treasure will be hosted by CTC’s very own Charlie Sexton & Keith McGill!
You can tune in for this primetime Friday night special on October 9th, which will be filmed at the CTC campus and streamed live via Zoom. We’ll feature Louisville’s best in comedy, theatre, and even a few guest appearances from students and alumni! VIP ticket buyers will also receive an official CTC “Party Pack” so you can celebrate with us at home… that is, unless you get called up to the (virtual) stage during the show!
Tickets for the ‘Resetting the Stage’ Variety Show start at $30. This event, streamed live via Zoom, will cap off our Resetting the Stage fundraising campaign. If you choose, you may also add a one-time donation to your ticket purchase.
We can’t wait to make history with you over the coming weeks! To learn more about sponsorship opportunities and other ways you can support CTC’s mission, you can reach out to Allie Summers, Director of Development and Marketing anytime at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We’ll “see” you soon!
