Celebrate Women’s History Month by getting to know the creative team of amazing women behind Zaynab’s Night of Destiny, a new children’s audio immersive scheduled for release in August 2021 and inspired by stories from across the Louisville community!

Director Zeina Salame will host playwright Denmo Ibrahim and Director of Creative Engagement Hallie Dizdarevic in a conversation about the genesis of the project, how it has adapted during COVID, and the importance of intersectional feminist perspectives in children’s theatre. The session will culminate with a reading from the script and participant Q and A.

This event is hosted by IDEAS at CTC, a group where students and adults alike can learn from and engage with diverse communities through theatre.

Connecting Cultures is supported by a generous grant from the Doris Duke Foundation for Islamic Art and by the National Endowment for the Arts.
