When: Thursday, April 29th at 7pm
Where: Virtual CTC (via Zoom)
April is Autism Acceptance Month, and IDEAS at CTC will celebrate all of the neurodivergent artists, students, and community members in our lives!
Local artist Erin Fitzgerald will use their comic series, Spectrum, as inspiration for discussion around the broad scope of neurodiversity, preferred terminology, and suggested adaptations that can be used to make programs and spaces as welcoming as possible. Special Needs Educator Britt ReChele Clinton will offer expert insight on inclusive design, and participants will also have the opportunity to express their ideas around inclusion and acceptance using a drawing exercise led by Fitzgerald.
All are welcome to attend this free event hosted by the Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity Awareness Society (IDEAS) at CTC!
