JOB SUMMARY: CTC’s Marketing Associate will provide a broad range of support for the organization’s internal and external goals. As a core member of the Development and Marketing team, he/she/they will blend passion and professionalism through structural support and intuitive branding.



-Work with DDM to create and produce organization-wide collateral (including posters, production photos, social media content, programs, flyers, brochures, logos, ads, et al.).
-Maintain and update website; work with DDM on major updates and changes to website as needed.
-Ensure that all listings (print and online) for productions and programming are fully explored and updated.
-Research and schedule community and networking opportunities for the Leadership Team, as appropriate.
-Maintain stakeholder contact information in internal database(s).
-Work with DDM on all event planning, coordination, and execution.
-Sit on Development and Marketing Committee; assist DDM with planning and coordination.
-Provide marketing support for fundraising efforts and grant needs.


-Research, write, and schedule press releases, e-updates, story ideas, and audio/visual content for print, web, email and social media, in coordination with DDM.
-Maintain and update social media plan (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Vimeo); coordinate with departments to ensure timely, regular content delivery.
-Design and implement the promotion of all programs and events (print and online) through advertisements and engaging content.
-Maintain contacts among community partners to increase audience for company programs; maintain contacts among advertising media to develop in-kind opportunities.
-Sell program advertisements; maintain and cultivate relationships with advertisers.
-Coordinate and attend community events for recruiting and promotional opportunities.


-Ensure quality, consistency, and brand standards for internal and external communication.
-Along with other full-time staff members, perform general administrative and promotional tasks for the organization as needed and appropriate.
-Additional related duties as needed and assigned.




Outreach Programming: Serve as primary teaching artists in various Outreach Programming offerings. Fellows will also assist in Outreach Administration duties including marketing/sales, data collection, and communications.

Production Season: Assist in the planning and devising of each production season. Take on administrative tasks in documenting meetings, researching royalties, script preparation, proctoring auditions, keeping callboard up to date with pertinent information. Collaborating with Admin/Events Fellow to ensure smooth production procedures, often serving as Front of House Staff during performances.

Administrative Support: Support Artistic Director, Associate Artistic Director, and Outreach Director in administrative tasks (emails, gdrive, phone correspondence, scheduling). Maintain office organization to ensure smooth productivity of the artistic team. Prepare rooms, materials, meeting schedules, when necessary and appropriate.

Summer Programming: Artistic Fellows will be involved in CTC’s Summer Camp programs. Duties may include: direct a Summer Academy camp, assist on a Junior Academy, or co-teach Preschool Camps, depending on the Fellow’s strengths and interests. They will also serve as Assistant Producer of the Alumni Company Season.
